Welcome to the official website of the Brawl of America!

After a 2-year Covid-induced hiatus, we're proud to announce that we'll be returning this year!  Our workshop will be held Saturday/Sunday, May 28/29th, on the campus of Hamline University.  Registration is now Live! Click HERE to get started!

Introducing our new Pay-What-You-Want initiative!

Six Elements Theatre is proud to offer a Pay-What-You-Want option for attendees who belong to historically marginalized identities, specifically those who identify as BIPOC, trans, or otherwise non-cis-gender.  We recognize the exclusion these artists have had to face, and are excited to remove barriers to access so our performing arts communities can be vibrant, thriving, and diverse.

Covid-19 Policy (updated 4/4/2022)

The following are our current policies regarding the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic:
  • All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination against Covid-19 or a valid medical exemption.
  • During the Workshop, all participants will be required to wear masks indoors at all times unless eating or drinking. We ask for participants to engage in social distancing whenever possible and appropriate.
  • Participants may be required to test in advance of attending the workshop. If this is the case, you will be informed at least 72 hours before the workshop and/or will be provided with a rapid test on site.
  • Refunds will be issued in accordance with our refund policy. If you are unable to attend due to an exposure or active case of Covid-19, please reach out to us to determine options for transferring or deferring your registration.
The Brawl of America Stage Combat Workshop is an opportunity to train in the art of performing violence on stage and screen that is both safe and dramatically effective.  Our instructors are leaders in the industry with national renown.  We offer a variety of classes that explore the diverse applications of choreographed violence within the contexts of dramatic storytelling.  Situated between the downtowns of the Twin Cities MN, the workshop is easily accessible and nestled in one of the most vibrant performing arts communities in the country. Please check out our website and see what the Brawl has to offer.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send them via email to BrawlofAmerica@gmail.com
