Welcome to the official website of the Brawl of America!

The Brawl of America returns on May 22-23, 2026, with our Theatrical Intimacy workshop on May 24.

Registration Will Open Soon!

Registration usually goes live in February/March, and remember - students who register earlier get priority class selection.

Continuing our Pay-What-You-Want initiative!

Six Elements Theatre is proud to offer a Pay-What-You-Want option for attendees who belong to historically marginalized identities, specifically those who identify as BIPOC, trans, or otherwise non-cis-gender.  We recognize the exclusion these artists have had to face, and are excited to remove barriers to access so our performing arts communities can be vibrant, thriving, and diverse.

Covid-19 Policy (updated 3/1/2025)

The following are our current policies regarding the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic:
  • During the Workshop, all participants are encouraged to wear masks indoors unless eating or drinking. We recommend that participants engage in social distancing whenever possible and appropriate.
  • Participants with symptoms of Covid-19 are required to test in advance of the workshop. Proof of a negative lab or home PCR test should be shown at check in if you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19.  Attendees showing symptoms of Covid-19 may be required to mask during the workshop (even with a negative test result)
  • Refunds will be issued in accordance with our refund policy. If you are unable to attend due to an exposure or active case of Covid-19, please reach out to us to determine options for transferring or deferring your registration.
The Brawl of America Stage Combat Workshop is an opportunity to train in the art of performing violence on stage and screen that is both safe and dramatically effective.  Our instructors are leaders in the industry with national renown.  We offer a variety of classes that explore the diverse applications of choreographed violence within the contexts of dramatic storytelling.  Situated between the downtowns of the Twin Cities MN, the workshop is easily accessible and nestled in one of the most vibrant performing arts communities in the country. Please check out our website and see what the Brawl has to offer.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send them via email to [email protected]
